Tuesday, the Minister of Environment, Dr. Muawiya Al-Radaidah, said: "We have been measuring the percentage of chlorine in the air since yesterday, Monday, at every 2 km in the direction of the port of Aqaba, and all the readings were normal."

Radaidah added that "our air, water and sea are in a normal and excellent condition, and we assure the residents of Aqaba and tourists that the situation is normal."

Additionally, he denied the validity of what was being circulated regarding the existence of pollution in Aqaba, stressing that the chlorine in the air will still be measured on Wednesday as well.
