  • A meeting was held with FAO to brainstorm potential ways of creating synergies. The two RBAs are developing a joint proposal to reduce postharvest losses for the smallholder farmers in Sao Tome and Principe.

  • The second Advisory Board meeting with all relevant stakeholders was organized to discuss the second draft of the ZHSR.

  • The country office continues to do the advocacy for potential donors to provide financial assistance to the national school meals programme and the Transitional Interim Country Strategic Plan.

  • A meeting was held with the National Institute Gender Promoting (INPG), to continue the campaign against gender-based violence, and advocacy for gender equality. Indicators suggest a strong improvement in the area during the development project implementation.
